Say, do you like dusty tombs? Hideous eldritch abominations? Annoying poison-spitting statue things? Then Dark Souls 2's upcoming DLC expansion The Lost Crowns might just be for you.

I'm still not entirely sold on the concept of Dark Souls DLC. The core games feel like such tightly designed game-worlds with such hardcore mindsets that the wishy-washy corporate blandness of the 'DLC package' seems like it should be for lesser, weaker titles.
Still, I suppose more dungeon-crawling is more dungeon-crawling, and the first episode of The Lost Crowns has a nice, vaguely Lovecraftian crypts-and-crawling-things feel to it that I'm really keen on. What's at the other end of that tentacle (below left)?
Part one of the three-part Lost Crowns series is out on all versions of the game this July 22.
