The hefty 2.10 patch for Diablo 3 is live right now, and to celebrate the first additional content for Reaper of Souls Blizzard is offering a week of double gold and Treasure Goblins.
We’ve covered the new stuff you’ll find in this latest update before, but if you want a refresher course Blizzard community manager Brandy Camel explains the major changes in a new video.
The gold buff is available to all Windows and Mac players, and affects all heroes, even those not tied to a Reaper of Souls account. It also stacks with existing bonuses ”including those provided by items and Paragon points”. Running after those pesky Treasure Goblins is one of the most oddly satisfying and yet often irritating things in Diablo 3. For one week missing them with a desperate axe swing and watching them scamper off into a portal won’t be quite so rage-inducing.
