The final piece of DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition is called Trespasser, and it takes place two years after the events of the main game, serving as an epilogue to your party’s adventures.
Those pesky Qunari are causing trouble again, and it seems like the world of Thedas isn’t quite as grateful as you might expect for saving their collective backsides from a demonic invasion.
While the previous two expansions settled for bland dungeoneering, this one is definitely more story-focused; as well as the fate on the Inquisition, a major plot hook from the end of the last game appears to be addressed, at least on some level. Intriguing.
As well as the new DLC, Bioware has detailed a new, free patch on the way to all platforms at an unspecified point in the near future. It adds an in-game statue to Skyhold that will allow you to sync items between save games, and a wardrobe that offers a few non-combat outfits for your downtime.
Trespasser will be available on September 8. Bioware says it’s announcing it “a bit earlier-from-release than the others” to give players a chance to prep their character – you’ll need to have finished the main story to play.
