There are a ton of pixel and retro graphic-styled re-imaginings of what some of our current trending media may have looked like if given the limitations of older age technology. In that vein, the chiptunes group 8 Bit Weapon created a sampling of what Fallout 4 might have looked like as a game for Apple IIc.
The program was made using in a 1984 open-source editor called Outlaw Editor and allows the game to run on an actual Apple II. It’s kind of amazing to see the ideas that have been made known to us thus far worked into the limitations of this dated system that could only handle a very limited content display and color spectrum.
