Dragon Age: Inquisition will get its second slice of DLC questing next week, in the form of The Descent. This expansion pack takes the Inquisitor and pals back down to the Deep Roads, the darkspawn-infested caverns that run under the world of Thedas.
"Meet memorable new characters, learn more about dwarven history, and collect epic loot as you fight to solve one of Thedas's greatest mysteries," teases Bioware of the new content.
Actual concrete details about what to expect are fairly scarce right now. The trailer reveals some fairly spectacular underground cavern environments, and there are some familiar darkspawn enemies from the Dragon Age series that were notably missing in Inquisition - say hello the the returning Ogre - but as for plot and, more importantly, potential new loot, we're in the dark.
Still, our very own Chris Capel rather liked previous expansion Jaws of Hakkon, so fingers crossed this will be a nice slice of extra exploration and combat too. It's out August 11.
