The multiplayer part of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, Metal Gear Online, launched last week, but gamers suffered serious matchmaking and server issues. To make up for it, Konami has apologized and given some gifts to those who had to deal with the rocky launch.
Every player has been rewarded a hefty 3000 GP, which will be given after today’s server maintenance. Additionally, the XP Boost period has been extended to three weeks instead of two.
