2K and developer Turtle Rock Studios have today revealed the details of the four brand new hunters and new Behemoth monster that will be coming to Evolve in just a couple of weeks.
Additionally, the 4 vs 1 shooter will also receive two completely brand new map for folks to shoot/eat about in, too.
Perhaps the highlight of the package, the new monster, Behemoth, is seemingly an absolute terror.
The largest, most heavily armored and durable monster in the entire game, what Behemoth loses by not being able to jump about the place, is quickly made up by his ability to toss scolding magma long distances and summon huge walls of crumbling rock to fence his hunter foes in.
In regards to the four hunters, we now have the following to look forward to:
Slim - A genetically modified medic who can dispatch healing drones across the map and leech health from the monster
Crow - A trapper who possesses a stasis gun and an airborne pet that can track the monster
Sunny - A new support character who has a hugely powerful grenade launcher and can enhance the team’s jetpacks
Torvald - A cyborg Assault character who uses a rapid-fire shotgun, handheld mortar and shrapnel grenade
Naturally, if you already own Evolve’s Hunting Pass, you’ll get access to all of them, along with all the additional monster skins.
If on the other hand you don’t, then Behemoth will set you back £11.99/$15 while each hunter will dent your wallet to the tune of £6.19/$7.50.
The Hunting Pass currently retails for £20/$25.
In regards to the maps, they’ll actually be free to all players when they release on April 30th. The two maps are the Broken Hill Mine and Broken Hill Foundry which together introduce a more urban theme to Evolve’s usual jungle/forest styled setting.
