Risen 3: Titan Lords will receive a free patch that will bring "a slew of visual enhancements" to players running the game on 64-bit operating systems, Deep Silver has announced. The announcement comes at the same time as a remastered version of the fantasy RPG hits the PS4. Like the next-gen console edition, the 64-bit patch will add improved texture resolution, draw distance, a smoother frame-rate, and visual effects like bloom and HDR. Anyone who owns Risen 3 will get the free update, as long as they have a 64-bit system. "In addition any DLCs that you have previously purchased (or may purchase in future) will obviously also function in the 64-bit version and all save games & previously obtained Steam achievements will also transfer from the 32-bit version to 64-bit version," says developer Piranha Bytes. We rather enjoyed the pirate-themed adventure when it came out last year. |
