After watching last week's Conan Exiles announcement trailer, you're probably wondering when you can see more of a colossus effortlessly demolish your settlement with its bare-foot and punch a giant snake in the mouth. The answer to that is today - during Funcom's live stream event.
We're about two months away from the early access release of Conan Exiles, and while last weeks' trailer showed off the general idea of its survival roots, we didn't get to see much in the way of continuous gameplay more than a series of random scenes.
Without the dinosaurs of ARK: Survival Evolved, you're looking at a survival sim going more for the realistic approach of an old desert kingdom rather than the sci-fi look of certain other games of a similar genre. Today's stream will focus on the live demonstration of Conan Exiles' gameplay away from the pre-recorded montage we saw last week. Catch the show at 19:00 CET - or 11am PST - over on Twitch.

“We are all greatly encouraged by the fantastic reception we saw for last week’s trailer and we cannot wait to finally show the game live,” said Funcom CEO Rui Casais. “With Early Access only two months away this feels like a natural time to start showing the game to the community following its development, and hopefully we can also get some valuable feedback we can address before Early Access starts.”
The joy of Conan Exiles is the ability to play the game in both private and public servers, or even as a single-player adventure. Dropping their usual 'Dreamworld' engine in favor of Unreal Engine 4, major concerns over performance should be softened this time around.
