The closed beta of Tom Clancy’s The Division has ended, with the only real complaint being rampant cheating in the PC version; Ubisoft has promised to clean that up. There’s still questions players have about the end-game content, and if there will be multi-group raids.
One YouTuber states that there will be, thanks to info gleaned from the beta.
Currently, what is known about end-game content is that when a player hits the max level of 30, they get a special version of the Dark Zone with tougher enemies, as well as the ability to replay previous story missions at a harder difficulty level
According to a video by user Arekkz, one hint is that there will be multi-group raids and the ability to rearrange the user interface - players can add an additional 5 teams in the Group Panel. Back in 2013, game director Ryan Barnard said of end-game content, ”For retention and the end game, ‘Group-Plus’ content will be really important; I can tell you that there will be multi-group content. I can’t get into it too much, but I can say there will be at least eight-player content.”
He also noted that during a live stream of beta gameplay, one developer let slip while answering a question about trading items that trading could potentially imbalance the game, especially during a ”high level raid.”
It seems logical that a game like Tom Clancy’s The Division would have end-game multi-party raids, since it’s the staple of almost all MMOs end-game content. The only question would be against who and for what stakes. Stay tuned, as the game is due to be launched this coming March.
