E3 is upon us! The Electronic Entertainment Expo has infiltrated the Los Angeles Convention Center, filling its halls with the latest and greatest games all the big publishers want you to know about. GameWatcher will be on hand to report the biggest news and give you hands-on coverage of the show’s top games. The show floor doesn’t officially open until Tuesday, but most of the big news will be revealed through the press conferences scheduled for Sunday and Monday.
Ubisoft will once again have a mid-day E3 press conference, by which I mean Aisha Tyler will once again be tasked with trying to make the most terrible of jokes work on stage. The prolific purveyor of open-world action games does have a solid lineup heading into E3. Watch Dogs 2 looks to be addressing the shortcomings of its predecessor, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands looks to turn its edgy take on cartel violence to an interesting game location.
We’ll see more of multiplayer brawler For Honor’s surprisingly deep combat system, and the follow up to a surprisingly excellent licensed RPG, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, should provide another entertaining animated adventure. I could also say that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is possible, but I don’t want to be hurt again.
Ubisoft’s conference usually has both the best and worst moments of E3, so we’d hate to miss it. You can tune in at 1PM Pacific, 9PM BST through the embed below to see for yourself.
