First Fallout 4, now Dark Souls. It’s just a DLC-y kind of day! A few scant details have just surfaced on Dark Souls III’s downloadable content plans.
An Xbox Australia leak earlier detailed some of what will be included in the upcoming season pass, and now that same information is listed on Steam, with the added benefit of a price. So woo PC!
”Expand your DARK SOULS™ III experience,” says the marketing copy, with its marketable copywriting, “with the Season Pass and gain access to 2 epic DLC packs at a discounted price. Challenge yourself with new maps, bosses, enemies and additional weapon and armor sets. Prepare yourself once more and embrace the darkness.” Sorry, darkness, but I don’t let down the bubble for abstract concepts regarding the blackness of the human heart.
The season pass is listed at $24.99, and given the success of previous Souls expansions, I’m pretty hopeful that this one will be worthwhile. I’m a little less hopeful that Bandai will put out a solid PC port, but at least we’ve got modders to fix that. Dark Souls III is due out on April 11.
