The second stage of their sale started today and this time around, it’s all about getting stronger, learning new talents, and moving forward. Are you ready for the RPG-themed Level Up sale?
The Level Up leg of Green Man Gaming’s Summer Sale features some great games from all corners of the industry. Whether you like your RPGs in fantasy-fiction, sci-fi, fast-paced, and/or methodical, if you have the itch for solo or party-style journeys through extensively fantastic worlds, then this sale might just be what you’re waiting for.
Looking for some hacking, slashy goodness in your life? The sale is featuring several choice pieces to sate your bloodlust. If you love the original world of J.R.R. Tolkien and his series of Middle-earth novels, then you need to put your eyes on Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition, which allows you to take up an action-RPG adventure through the Tolkien’s fantastic fantasy-fiction universe at a fraction of its regular price during the sale. If you’re looking for something a bit more original, we’ve got you covered. Capcom’s own impressive action-RPG, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is also on sale, featuring battles against enormous and intense monsters in a journey to destroy a dragon that threatens the world.
More interested in the combat than the story? Heads up, there’s something in there for you. The Borderlands is fine-tuned towards players with an anxious trigger finger and a love for the loot. Obsidian pleased hardcore fans of the isometric experience and lovers of the old-school Baldur’s Gate-style games with their unique and interesting take Pillars of Eternity and right now, you can get the game in all of its forms, including the content heavy Pillars of Eternity: Royal Edition for a fraction of its regular price. Of course, Obsidian also has the guts to take the traditional and laugh about it in their irreverent team up with Matt Stone and Trey Parker. South Park: The Stick of Truth is on sale and features all of the elements of a good, old-school RPG, while simultaneously conveying the trademark crude and equally clever humor of South Park’s signature style.
