Paradox Interactive and Paradox Development Studio announced today that it’s next two expansion packs, Europa Universalis IV: Third Rome and Hearts of Iron IV: Death or Dishonor, will be released on 14th June, 2017.
Both of the expansion packs will be priced individually at $9.99. Paradox Interactive will be offering a special bundle to fans of the series, which gives them a 10% discount for both titles at the Paradox Plaza Store.
Europa Universalis IV: Third Rome boots the Russian empire with new governmental, military, and diplomatic opportunities. This also includes new ranks for the Russian government, giving Tsars the power to claim states, powerful streltsy mercenary units that excel in combat at the cost of the empire’s stability, and new interactions with the Orthodox Patriarchate.
Hearts of Iron IV: Death or Dishonor will give players the chance to introduce new National Focus trees and gameplay options for the countries caught between the Nazi and Soviet army, which includes Hungary, Romania, Czechoslovakia, and Yugoslavia. This expansion pack will also add new diplomatic and puppet interactions, new music and more.
As is accustomed with all DLC releases at Paradox, free patches will be released for both Europa Universalis IV and Hearts of Iron IV when the expansions launch on 14th June. We’ll have more information on what changes those patches make soon.
