As we approach the launch of Total War: Warhammer 2, we edge closer to the day the original title will feel a little dead in the water in terms of its multiplayer offerings. With owners of Total War: Warhammer having access to a combined map in the sequel, its days of relevancy are nearing an end.
So before that, we suggest giving the first a whirl if you haven't done so already. If you perhaps skipped out on the original under the idea that 'the sequel is always better', that's not a bad philosophy! But with the amount of content offered through the first game, we think it's really worth your time. Especially given it's on sale right now.
The folks over at Bundle Stars are offering up the base Total War: Warhammer experience for a measly £12 - not bad for a game that's only a year old. Rest assured, the 'base game' right now contains far more than it did at launch, with a number of free races (complete with unique Legendary Lord units), being added in as the year went by.

And if you're looking to make the original your go-to Total War experience, there's a plethora of paid-DLC available, too. Much like the base game, Bundle Stars are offering the add-ons at a discount. Though at up to 40% off, they're not quite as heavily discounted as the main game. Still, savings are savings.
For those who already own everything Total War: Warhammer related, yet haven't bothered to pre-order the sequel - perhaps now is a good time. Offering up the immediately playable Norsca DLC to any who pre-order the sequel. having it up at 18% off pre-release isn't a bad deal at all.
