In an effect to better keep its players up to date with the continuously expanding Total War franchise, the teams have begun a collective thread over on the Total War forums to keep players in the loop when it comes to progress with each currently relevant title.
The thread is said to be under constant revision and should always be taken as something subject to change as per the unknown likelihood of development conditions changing or the sudden need to cancel or otherwise alter a game in question.
When it comes to Total War: Arena, it's currently still riding out its Alpha state with regular weekend tests around once a month. Since presenting it at Wargaming Fest late last year, work has commenced on UI changes, reward tweaks, new battlefields, units and commanders alongside I likely much-needed tutorial for the newcomers.
With the game design finalized and asset creation in full swing, the currently un-named next major Total War is heavy in development - but it's still early days yet. As for Total War: Warhammer, there's a smaller team still working on DLC for the current game while the rest chip away at the sequel with races and play-styles take shape.
Then it's down to the new Black Ops Task Team. Headed by Jack Lusted to investigate whether stand-alone content can bridge the gap for the historical Total War fans between now and the next major release, it's up to this new team to make this a reality.
But which are you most looking forward to?
