Despite being well over a year old by this point, Fatshark and still ready and waiting with more DLC for their Warhammer meets Left 4 Dead shoot em' up 'Warhammer: The End Times - Vermintide' - so, of course, there's even more now.
With both VR support with additional missions and a whole new expansion set coming to their ratman blaster at the close of 2016, it's surprisingly to see another free update so soon.
While it isn't exactly another fresh selection of levels or new weapons, you wouldn't really expect as much coming straight after a paid expansion. Instead, the FatShark guys are hoping to give a new breath of life to each of the currently available maps by dotting more little secrets throughout their dirty streets.

Players willing to retrace their steps and experience some of the game's older offerings now have another reason to do so other than nostalgia or the simple adoration of the hard work but into the landscapes. Following fan requests, efforts have been made to litter the streets with collectable pages of information for fans to piece together into viable 'Lorebook'. Granted, that's the name of the free update, so it figures that's what it'd be about. You're not rescuing a complete 2017 edition of Bretonia.
So reload your weapons and get ready to fight off some walking vermin yet again. At least you can escape the chill of the mountains for a little while. For those not yet involved, you can pick up a copy of Warhammer: The End Times - Vermintide over on Steam.
