A highlight of the Dota 2</b> competitive scene, the The Perfect World Masters China Qualifier has already started, but rides into the weekend for all to see. Eclipse are already taking names; but how long can it last?
With the competition already firing up this morning, China's greatest Dota 2 teams are going head-to-head to qualify for a place in the big leagues.
While the Western world toils away at their day jobs, the timezone difference means hosting a major qualifier mid-week certainly isn't the most inviting for a portion of the Dota 2 playerbase. But with plenty of live reports on sites like TeamLiquid, we can see that Eclipse have already managed to live up to their name by trouncing iG Vitality.

Ending their 'Best of 3' matchup without losing a point, Eclipse crushed the opposition to reach the Semifinal match, with Invictus Gaming being their next hurdle to overcome.
With Invictus losing one of their matches to advance in-place of EHOME, Eclipse seem to have the upper hand on paper. You can watch that particular game down below if you're quick enough. Hopefully VODs for the first will become available soon.
Whoever moves up to the Winners' Finals, however, will have to wait. The first day of competition will come to an end with this round, with tomorrow kicking off matches between LGD Gaming/Vici Gaming and NGA gaming against VGJ.Thunder in their own Quaterfinals before moving onto their Semifinal leg.
The Winners'/Losers' Finals takes place this Saturday with two teams then earning a spot in further competition.
