Alan Wake Remastered’s announcement made quite a few Remedy Entertainment fans aching for a return to Bright Falls happy. Coming more than one decade after the release of the original, the title launches in a different climate in which Xbox Game Pass, its PC counterpart, and other subscription services are becoming increasingly popular.
A potential Alan Wake Remastered Xbox Game Pass version would not only add another high profile title to the subscription service’s already impressive list, but also make it easier to introduce Control fans to a different part of the universe shared by the two games. Here’s what we know about whether or not the remaster is coming to Game Pass in 2021.
The title’s announcement wasn’t particularly rich in details, although we did learn that it is an Epic Games Store exclusive and that 4K support will make Bright Falls look better.
Unfortunately, no signs currently point towards Alan Wake Remastered coming to Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart in 2021.
Since details surrounding the game are rather scarce at the moment, and the developer promised that more will be shared at a later date, we shouldn’t completely rule out the possibility of seeing the game on Microsoft’s subscription service when it launches this fall.
We’ll be on the lookout and update this article with any news regarding Alan Wake Remastered’s arrival on Xbox Game Pass.
