Aliens: Fireteam was announced this week as publisher and developer Cold Iron Studios’ debut title. A third-person co-op shooter pitting players against various types of iconic Xenomorphs, its reveal was accompanied by a first set of screenshots and a trailer that features bits of gameplay.
Taking inspiration from Left 4 Dead but also other co-op titles, Aliens: Fireteam seems to emphasize teamwork and class synergy while making players work for survival. Check out the screenshots and trailer below for a first look at some of the game’s five classes, its alien baddies, but also a short glimpse at a squad of Weyland-Yutani androids chilling out behind cover.
