Anthem, the latest game from BioWare, is out now - and it's got some weird challenges mixed in with the fun loot-drop stuff. At some point to progress you'll need to get Anthem Multi Kills, and here's the thing, the game doesn't tell you how to get multi kills in Anthem.
You'll need three of these for the Anthem Tomb of Cariff challenge, which you need to progress the game's story, but the game does an awful job of explaining them or how to get them. Let us help you.
How to Get Anthem Multi Kills and Complete Tomb of Cariff Challenge
To get started, what are Multi Kills? Quite simply, you need to get 8 kills, one after the other, with less than 10 seconds between each (the time resets after each kill). You should be able to use whatever you want to achieve this - weapon, melee, abilities, even Ultimate - and be able to do it anywhere.
The problem is, it's quite possibly bugged. Players have reported not being able to get multi-kills using Ultimate abilities, or anywhere but the Freeplay mode. So, here's some advice on how to get multi kills in Anthem:
- Turn the game to Easy! Just for this instance anyway, you can set it in the mission launch options.
- Stick to Freeplay in the main game world. Only way to be sure.
- Don't use Ultimate. Again, just in case.
- Before you do anything, find a group of at least 8 enemies. It's pointless if you can't find more than 3. World events are good, just make sure you're on your own. The Scar Foothold between Academy Ruins and Great Falls canyon is another good place to go.
- Guns and melee attacks work best.
- Get up close and personal, so they come to you instead of hiding.
- Count! Sounds stupid but it works.
Then, just check the Tomb of Cariff challenge to see if it's tracking your Multi Kills. Once you've got three sets, you don't have to worry about this again...
