Biomutant doesn’t shy away from using RPG elements to fuel its character customization, and leveling up lets you better define which type of combat your furry fighter masters. But as you spend points, you might ask yourself what the level cap is and how quickly you can hit max level.
And they’re fair questions, too. You’ll want to make sure that you’re satisfied with your character build upon reaching Biomutant’s level cap. Max level can cause quite a bit of anxiety, especially if you’re adamant about trying out everything you can, so we’re sharing what we know on the topic to make things a bit clearer.
During our playthrough, we took our character all the way to level 30 and could still continue earning XP. Every level, we earned 10 stat points used to increase one of the six available stats, as well as an upgrade point to spend on perks or Wung-Fu moves.
Initially, the level cap was set to 50 but, as of patch 1.5, Biomutant’s max level has been increased to 100, which should grant an extra incentive to go through all the side quests peppered through its open world.
We’ll be on the lookout and update this article when we learn more about Biomutant’s level cap. In the meantime, give our guides on aura and microwave puzzles a read.
