Cyberpunk 2077 is riling up some really, really high expectations from fans, critics, and investors, but that doesn't mean that CD Projekt RED, the developers of The Witcher 3 and the upcoming Cyberpunk RPG, are getting ahead of themselves with this project.
With the event looming over our heads, many of us were wondering will Cyberpunk 2077 be shown at the Game Awards 2018, hoping for new info to be revealed to keep the hype train rolling, but alas, according to sources, it won't happen.
Cyberpunk 2077 Game Awards 2018 was, for some, meant to be another grand reveal akin to the one we had the pleasure of viewing a few months back, but if CD Projekt RED's community manager, Marcin Momot, is to be believed, the game will not be making any sort of appearance at all.
Now, you're probably wondering why isn't Cyberpunk 2077 at the Game Awards 2018, and the answer is simple - developers aren't ready to showcase anything new. The only thing we can do now, really, is to rewatch the fascinating - and lengthy - gameplay trailer released a while back, and hope that CDPR are going to provide more info soon.
Even though Cyberpunk 2077 won't be making its way to Game Awards 2018, we have prepared a special article detailing some of the most exciting as-of-yet unannounced games that might do so, so be sure to give it a read!
