Why are the Destiny 2 servers down for Maintenance? If you haven't been keeping track of the game's weekly reset schedule, the maintenance may sound concerning. What is the current Server Status? Are Bungie currently working on getting it back online?
Some of the errors you might've come across while attempting to play Destiny 2 are Destiny 2 Marionberry, Destiny 2 Weasel, and Destiny 2 Banjo. These signify connectivity problems. So, is Destiny 2 down for maintenance? And if so, why? We've got the answers below.
Destiny 2 Maintenance
This particular maintenance has been previously announced, and it's going to be running for about fifteen minutes' time. Slated for 15th of October, this latest maintenance period is going to happen so that Bungie can prepare game files for Update 220.127.116.11, the patch notes to which we do not yet have.
Tomorrow (10/15) at 9:45 AM PDT, Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance for Update 18.104.22.168. Players will be removed from activities at 9:45 AM and will be unable to log in until 10 AM when Update 22.214.171.124 becomes available.
If the Pacific Daylight timezone means nothing to you, here are the scheduled start and end times for this maintenance period:
- START: 09:45 PDT / 12:45 ET / 17:45 BST / 18:45 CEST
- END:10:00 PDT / 13:00 ET / 18:00 BST / 19:00 CEST
Since there's very little expected downtime, we should be more-or-less good to go, mind. We'll keep you posted on any other server maintenance schedules that might be coming up over the coming months, so please keep us bookmarked for the latest information.
