Diablo 3 is the hack-and-slash dungeon crawler from Blizzard that stands as the inspiration for the genre as a whole. It had sold over 30 million copies even before the Switch release and is one of the best selling games of all time. That doesn’t mean the game is free of bugs though, and we look into Error Code 300016 below.
The 300016 error code has been around for most of this time, but if you’re stumbling onto it these days, it’s mostly going to be due to the Starter Edition. Once you reach the end of the trial version you have to purchase the game to continue. This is all well and good, but error 300016 can stop you doing that.
Diablo 3 Error Code 300016 - What Does It Mean?
The issue is that the in-game store can have issues connecting from the Starter Edition. This problem also existed in the betas for the early expansion and DLC. If you want to continue without the error, you will need to go to Blizzard’s store and buy it from there. Once that’s done you shouldn’t have any more problems.
We’ve recently been seeing teasers into Diablo 4, so check that out here if you’re interested.
