This change was previously announced and likely comes as a result of Diablo 4's live service kicking into full gear. But although it's set to tread more familiar ground, Diablo 3's Season 30 start and end dates should very much be of interest to players who still enjoy the older entry in the series.
Diablo 3 Season 30 Release Date
Like their predecessors, Diablo 3's Season 30 start and end dates are tricky to pin down before Blizzard announces them.
The developer has, however, confirmed that it intends future seasons to launch "roughly every 3 months," bringing back older themes into the spotlight.
This knowledge alongside what we know about Season 29 lets us try our hand at estimating when we might see the next content refresh happen.
Expected start date
- Diablo 3 Season 30 start date: Between December 2023 and February 2024 (GameWatcher estimation)
- Diablo 3 Season 30 end date: Between March 2024 and May 2024 (GameWatcher estimation)
We currently expect Diablo 3's Season 30 start date to occur at some point between December 2023 and Feburary 2024. Its end date would then be slated for some point between March 2024 and May 2024.
As far as content goes, we don't know which old theme will be reintroduced just yet. Blizzard has plenty of options and it remains to be seen if it opts to bring back themes in the order in which they launched or spice things up.
That is what we know so far about Diablo 3 Season 30's start date and end dates. More details will be shared over the course of the coming months and we'll update this article as soon as we know more.
