CD Projekt RED has got some very high hopes for this year's E3, outright states the latest official company announcement. In their Q1 2019 post, they've referenced the sales results of their currently-released and relevant titles, as well as giving us a nod on what's to come.
Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be an obvious inclusion for CDPR's E3 2019 announcements and reveals, though we can't help but wonder about their second in-dev game, the as-of-yet unannounced project. Could this be what they're talking about?
According to said post, The Witcher 3 is - still - a bestseller for CDPR, with GWENT and Thronebreaker both performing slightly less admirably, though the group's earnings have also been bolstered by the sales driven via GOG.com, expectedly so.
What's most curious is the following statement by CEO Adam Kiciński: "We will be taking part in the upcoming edition of E3, which is shaping up to be the most important fair in CD PROJEKT’s history. We want to be even more prominent in Los Angeles than we were last year."
While this may well be referencing the company's second unannounced AAA game, CDPR have also noted that Cyberpunk 2077 will be showcased in E3's public exhibit hall for the first time, ever. Excited?
