Grand Theft Auto 5’s free stint on the Epic Games Store is off to a rocky start. After servers crumbled under the number of players looking to redeem their copy, users are now receiving the “Your account is unable to download any more free games” error.

Epic Games Store Your Account Cannot Download More Free Games Error
The full text of the most recent error plaguing Epic Games Store users reads as follows: “Your account is unable to download any more free games at this time.”
It can be quite frustrating, especially if you’ve planned your weekend around the game being given away for free.
Luckily, the Epic Games Store Twitter account has already posted a workaround. The bad part is that it involves waiting for quite a bit.
“If you receive this error, please wait 24 hours. You should then be able to proceed with downloading the game.”, the tweet reads.
There, sadly, doesn’t seem to be any other way to get rid of the error. Hopefully, just like with error 500, this one won’t stick around for too long.
