Europa Universalis 5’s patch 1.0.3 is now live, introducing fixes for issues with the resolutions, laws, and parliament tabs not showing while addressing a handful of crashes and more.
Considerably smaller than its predecessor, EU5’s update 1.0.3 nonetheless sees Paradox taking another step towards making the experience of taming five centuries of history a bit smoother.

EU5’s update 1.0.3 also tackles a number of situations in which the game would crash, particularly some tied to the camera and chase enemy unit objectives.
It also fixes a VRAM memory leak related to gui animations, which should hopefully make the grand strategy game more stable overall.

- Adding support for custom localization fixing the function _icon and _with_icon affecting the Russian tutorial.Miscellaneous
Settings:
- Added a setting to prioritze max tick speed over FPS smoothness
Bugfixes:
- Fixed a crash related to failing to open files for generating checksum.
- Added more data to crash reports related to currently consumed VRAM, renderer, driver versions to help track hardware related crashes.
- Fixed a VRAM memory leak related to gui animations.
- Fixed a crash related to Camera.
- Fixed a crash related to CPUs missing AVX2 support for compressing textures.
- Fixed some issues related to language selection screen.
- Fixed a crash related to chase enemy unit objectives.
- Fixed a crash related to refunding construction costs to now non-existing countries.
