Fallout 76 Technical Data is a special quest-related item that will, as the title of this article may suggest, be required in substantial quantities in order for you to maximise your loot and XP gain. This Brotherhood of Steel-related quest is repeatable, meaning you can do it as many times as you wish.
Fallout 76 Technical Data farm is not a very specific procedure, which means you're going to have to go hunting a bit before you find any Technical Data. We do know, however, where you should look for a chance to find some, so this may well be handy for you yet.
Where to Farm Technical Data in Fallout 76?
After you start the 'Forbidden Knowledge' quest at Camp Venture by using the local Control Terminal, you're going to trigger the spawn order for Technical Data items. Now, the thing to keep in mind is that there's no point in collecting more than one per each instance of this repeatable quest, as it only rewards you for putting in one item of Technical Data, even if you have twelve of them. All twelve of them, however, will get taken away, so just something to keep in mind.
To find Technical Data, you're going to want to find government buildings, or any other type of building which has lots of desks, filing cabinets, and safes - that's where Technical Data has a chance to spawn. Since this is all entirely random, your mileage may vary, but look through Charleston Capitol Building, for example.
Rewards include various Brotherhood of Steel-related items, as well as T-60 BOS Initiate Paint and T-60 BOS Knight Paint. Happy hunting!
