Sea of Thieves doesn’t drop as much loot as some, but linking your account to Twitch can still net you some sweet cosmetics you’d be salty to miss. For this to work you need both your Sea of Thieves and Twitch accounts at the ready.
Many of these drops come from watching a Sea of Thieves stream during a specified time that will be announced with the the events, and the process of linking your account to Twitch is almost as simple. Follow the guide below and you’ll soon be shipshape to claim your prize.
How to Link Twitch to Sea of Thieves Guide
- Go to the Sea of Thieves website
- Click the profile button in the top-right and choose Log In
- Sign in to your Xbox Live/Microsoft account and you’ll be taken back to Sea of Thieves
- Click your profile button in the top-right and choose Account
- Scroll down to Twitch Drops
- Click the Link Twitch Account button and sign-in with your Twitch account
Once you’ve earned your rewards, you’ll receive a notification on Twitch. All you need to do to claim the rewards after this is log in to the game. If you’re already logged in to Sea of Thieves you’ll need to log out and back in again.
Should you ever want to remove the link, you can do so via your Sea of Thieves account page, by scolling down to Your Social Accounts and clicking Unlink Account. You can keep up to date on Sea of Thieves Twitch drops here.
