It looks like we’re getting a Lego-themed take on Paradox Interactive’s Cities: Skylines series as the Korean ratings board shows a listing for Lego Skylines.
Several notable games were rated, including Persona 4 Revival, Gears of War: E-Day, Ace Combat 8, and the Switch 2 version of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Nothing too surprising there, considering we’re heading into the usual glut of Summer gaming announcements at Summer Games Fest and more.
Lego Skylines to Toy With City Building?
But Lego Skylines is something of a surprise. While nothing is confirmed about what the game is, it’s not hard to put two and two together and see Cities: Skylines’ Paradox Interactive and the title Lego Skylines point to a brick-based take on the popular city builder.
It would make sense as a collaboration. The fairly accessible city building of Cities: Skylines, melded with the tactile joy of Lego. Plus, after the disastrous launch of Cities: Skylines 2 and the fallout from it, Paradox will undoubtedly be looking at a way to redeem the name, and sticking Lego in there doesn’t hurt.
For years, Lego has had a pretty healthy relationship with the world of video games, with successful unions between the Danish company and Batman, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Lord of the Rings, and more. It’s also had non-IP games such as Lego City Undercover and Lego Worlds.
With Summer Games Fest 2026 just around the corner, we’ll know more about Lego Skylines soon enough, and with that rating, we could have it in our hands this year.
