Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin's day one Update 1.0.3 will be the first one to drop when the game launches in just a few days, its full patch notes revealing a smaller number of changes, including reduced loading times.
Also included in Monster Hunter Stories: Wings of Ruin 2's day one Update 1.0.3 are a number of bug fixes that should make its launch version a bit more polished. Although it's a smaller patch, at least compared to some other launch-day updates, publisher and developer Capcom will, undoubtedly, continue supporting the game with future fixes to issues that might pop up once everyone gets their hands on the game.
- You will be able to receive and use downloadable content such as deluxe kits purchased separately, and additional content such as limited benefits.
- Reduced loading time (trial version has this fix applied)
- Fixed some minor bugs.
Update 1.0.3 will take up 500MB and, seemingly, only be available on Nintendo Switch. It's possible that the PC launch version will have these improvements baked in, but we'll be sure to mention any changes in this article, provided we learn of any.
Monster Hunter Stories: Wings of Ruin 2 launches on July 9 and is headed to PC and Nintendo Switch.
