As Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord's Early Access journey continues, publisher and developer TaleWorlds Entertainment today released Update 1.6.0, its patch notes announcing a new round of fixes that should make adventuring throughout Calradia smoother than it was before.
Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord's Update 1.6.0's patch notes reveal fixes for several crashes, including some that occured when attempting to break out of prison and daring to select your heir from the active player party.
Ranged troops have also figured out that turning their backs to the enemy while switching to melee weapons in close quarters combat is generally a bad idea and will give their opponents fewer chances to stab them in the back.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord's latest patch also reworks the attribute selection process for the AI, which should hopefully result in more interesting characters roaming the wilds.
You can check out the full patch notes over on the game's official website, where you'll also find a list of recent changes and additions, including an Ironman mode that ups the challenge as well as the addition of crafting orders.
Although it's still in early access, Bannerlord is no stranger to mods, having gathered a fairly impressive collection so far. If you're just now hopping in and need some help while you get your bearings, check out our article covering console commands.
