Necromunda: Hired Gun is out now, which means that eager players can step into the boots of a cybernetically-augmented bounty killer and fill the Hive CIty’s gang members with lots of lead. If you’re still on the fence about purchasing the game, however, you may ask yourself how long it takes to beat.
Knowing how many hours you need to put aside in order to complete the first-person shooter’s campaign is quite important. Whether you’re playing through multiple newer releases or finally clearing some of those trapped in the purgatory known as every gamer’s backlog, read on below to learn how long it took us to beat Necromunda: Hired Gun.
We spent a total of 11 hours playing through Necromunda: Hired Gun’s campaign, a small chunk of which were dedicated to a handful of secondary missions. The campaign spans 13 missions set in various locations across the Hive City, and you can spend a bit more or less time going through the main story, depending on how thorough you want to be about discovering treasure chests and obtaining the loot within.
Aside from the main story, you also have access to three tiers of side missions issued by Necromunda’s different factions. These send you back to the same levels you completed during the campaign but assign different objectives like retrieving meat, saving people, or killing another faction’s lieutenants. They seem to get constantly refreshed and act as an extra source of money, which could potentially push your playtime well past the 11-hour mark.
