Resident Evil 2 Remake 30-minute demo was far more popular than most had expected it to be, and the concurrent player count showed that 3 times as many people played the REmake 2 demo than played the Resident Evil 7 demo. The fanbase is clearly eagerly awaiting the game's release.
According to GitHyp data, peak playing session for REmake 2 demo saw no less than 11k concurrent players enjoying it, while RE7 demo peaked at about 4k concurrent players. From this, we can project a rather successful release for REmake 2!
When it comes to concurrent player information for Resident Evil, #1 is currently Resident Evil 7 with 20k players, with the runner-up being Resident Evil 6, sitting at 12k. With the REmake 2 demo being so much more successful than any other previously featured Resident Evil demos, it's almost a given that the full release will be wildly successful, too.
