Earlier this month, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin's success in Japan led to halting publisher Marvelous' stock price.
XSEED Games - publishing brand of Marvelous USA – has now confirmed that Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin sold 500,000 copies globally, making it one of the company's best selling titles.
The 500,000 copies sold include both digital and retail versions of the 2D brawler/farming sim hybrid, the latter having "largely sold out," according to the publisher.
