When does Skate Season 3 begin? We take a look at the latest release date information and news on the content coming with the seasonal update.
Skate’s long-in-development free-to-play reboot has (so far) managed to attract over 15 million players despite some bumps in the road and the overabundance of MTX facing criticism from veterans. Now, with Season 1 underway and keeping skaters entertained with a batch of themed seasonal events, new tasks and challenges, and extra cosmetics, we’re looking at what lies beyond.
We know Season 2 will be starting in December, but can Full Circle and Electronic Arts keep the quick pace of updates into early 2026 as players ask for more? Scroll down to find out.
Skate Season 3 Release Date - Start & End Times
Skate Season 2 begins in December, but we don’t know how long the gap between Season 1’s Dec. 2 finale and its kickoff will be. The early access roadmap shared in early September (see below) suggests the wait between S2 and S3 won’t be long though.
- Skate Season 3 Release Window: early 2026
Though we don’t know for sure the length EA and Full Circle are targeting with seasonal updates after S1, they’ve mentioned it’ll be shorter than the rest. Since it’s going to run for two months, it wouldn’t surprise us to see S2 hitting the three-month mark. In that case, Skate Season 3 wouldn’t arrive until March 2026.
Skate Season 3 Content
Though we don’t have the full rundown of Skate’s Season 3 contents, the first look at the post-launch roadmap gave us some teases of what to expect beyond Season 1 & 2:
- Leaderboards
- Open world collection
- More character customization slots (tattoos confirmed)
- Player-created parks
- New game modes
- New gameplay tricks such as darkslides and better footplants
Since this is all bundled into the “Season 3 and beyond” section of the first roadmap reveal, we think it’s obvious Season 3 won’t contain all of those content drops and improvements. Stay tuned for the latest updates on Skate’s third season and more as the news drop.
