Total War: Warhammer 2 is going to be getting new downloadable content very soon, but the thing of it is - we've no idea what the hell is it going to be about. The latest tweet posted by Creative Assembly does give us a bit of a hint, though...
If you've been keeping track of Total War: Warhammer 2's development, you'll know that the game's been in a bit of a lull over the past few months, the last big expansion having been The Queen and the Crone, which introduced substantial additions the Elven factions of the game, among other things.
This latest tweet has a bit of a piratey feel to it, though, seeing as how it's a simple 'X marks the spot' kind of thing on a yellowed-out, smudgy piece of old paper. The date on it says 04.10.18, which means that come next week, we'll be getting a proper announcement on what this new content might be.
Word on the street is that the new Total War: Warhammer 2 DLC might be related to the Dogs of War sub-faction of the Warhammer fantasy universe. These are, understandably, pirates hailing from all sorts of races to pillage and plunder.
We'll see next week!
