Total War: Warhammer 3’s official mod support went live alongside its first major update at the start of April and, hot on its heels, the first version of the popular Radious Total War mod is now also available. Players who subscribe to it can find a number of sweeping balance changes alongside expanded rosters for the Kislev and Cathay factions.
Radious Total War is one of the most popular names as far as user-made modifications for Creative Assembly’s titles go. The mod is known for its notable overhauls, bug fixes, and new units, which make it a must-have for quite a few of the grand strategy series’ fans.
Warhammer III’s first version of the Radious Total War mod adds 20 new units for Kislev and 23 for Cathay.
Players who take up arms against the forces of Chaos and subscribe to the mod can now field units such as the Hammers of Tor, Mounted Torch Bearers of Dazh, Onyx Dragons, Terracotta Automatons, and more.
The mod also rebalances the game’s technology trees, character skills, traits, and followers, alongside building effects, costs, and construction times.
The overhaul also extends to all spells, abilities, magic, and beyond them, as per the full patch notes.
The small but dedicated team behind the mod plans to continue supporting it, expanding the rosters of Total War: Warhammer III’s remaining factions, and bringing its reworked Warhammer I and II content to players once the Immortal Empires combined map finally arrives.
One of the Warhammer III’s chunkier mods, you’ll find part 1, part 2, and part 3 of the Radious Total War mod on Steam Workshop.
