Publisher Paradox Interactive and developer The Chinese Room have revealed the release date for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2’s Valentine’s update, which sees the RPG sequel receiving its first major serving of content in 2026.
Slated to release on February 11, 2026, so technically a few days before Valentine’s Day, the update prepares us for the two pieces of premium DLC that Bloodlines 2 is set to receive later in the year.

“We’re excited to share that on February 11th, our Valentine’s update will bring new cosmetics, enemy loot, and bug fixes,” reads a Steam post revealing what we can expect from the sequel in 2026.

The publisher has, so far, remained tight-lipped regarding the exact nature of the cosmetics, facial hair, loot items, and bug fixes coming to Bloodlines 2 in its Valentine’s update, but we thankfully don’t have that much longer to wait before seeing what it entails.
Once highly-anticipated, the project hit significant development hurdles that included delays and even a change of developer. It launched to a mixed reception, many fans of the original expressing disappointment at its leaner RPG features.
Paradox Interactive publicly acknowledged Bloodlines 2’s failure but remains committed to delivering the promised two pieces of DLC and, by the looks of it, supporting the game with updates throughout 2026.
Although it won’t deliver any notable changes to the game’s systems, Bloodlines 2’s Valentine’s update release date does, at least, throw a bone to those players who enjoyed the sequel for what it is.
