Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Gifts of the Wolf Father 2025 event is in full swing, bringing daily rewards and double XP to any ratslayers eager to help the Ubersreik Five with the yearly bout of bloody but festive Skaven slaughter.
Having started yesterday, December 9, and with its end date scheduled for January 3, 2026, Vermintide 2’s Gifts for the Wolf Father event gives us almost an entire month to claim a variety of in-game goodies while bringing any characters that might be lagging behind up to speed.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Gifts of the Wolf Father 2025 Event
Each day during this period, Lohner’s Emporium of Wonders gets new claimable gifts. While logging in regularly is required to make sure we add every one of them to our collection, daily logins are, thankfully, not mandatory.
As developer Fatshark explains, everyone has “a 2-day grace period to claim each of the items from each calendar day as they unlock (plus the day of release itself, for a total of 3 days).”
The first reward included in Warhammer: Vermintide 2’s Gifts of the Wolf Father 2025 event was the Cold Winds Wanderer portrait frame, which adorns the borders around our character’s small image on the UI with fearsome teeth and axes. Many more will follow throughout the month.
Having double XP active for the duration of the event is also a great way to level up any characters or careers that we may not have given the proper attention until now.
At any rate, Warhammer: Vermintide 2’s Gifts of the Wolf Father 2025 event is an excellent treat for both long-time veterans and newcomers who might have picked up the game while it was free-to-keep in late November.
