Excited as we all are for next year's release of Watch Dogs Legion, it is crucial for us to keep things in perspective. The game may look great, have a very intriguing and potentially innovative feature-set, as well as a plethora of interesting things to do, but it seems it's a bit of a downgrade from Watch Dogs 2.
The issue is a small detail, really, but we find it absolutely crucial for our long-term enjoyment of the game. It relates to the Legion's depiction of animals - dogs in particular - and the fact that it will not let us pet dogs at all.
Why can't you pet dogs in Watch Dogs Legion?
It just so happens that Watch Dogs Legion will have no dogs walking around anywhere in the game world, which obviously means that the characters we control won't have any opportunity to interact with them, sadly. Watch Dogs 2, on the other hand, allowed players to pet dogs wherever they wanted.

Jokes aside, Watch Dogs Legion looks like a very exciting offering, and one can only hope that Ubisoft manages to deliver the sort of sandbox madness they've envisioned for the third iteration of this series. The game is set to come out on 6th of March, 2020.
