Where can you find the second trial of Aql? The second Trial of Aql is located in the eastern Vermillius Gap in Dune Awakening, just north of the Hagga Basin’s starting area. This location won’t appear on your map until you’re right next to it or reveal it using the Survey Probe Launcher.
This trial is straightforward and serves as a tutorial for the Compactor, which becomes available upon completion of the trial. The Compactor is used to harvest Flour Sand, a resource used mainly in crafting Silicone Blocks, though it also features in a few other recipes. Flour Sand can be processed in the Chemical Refinery.
Where to find the second Trial of Aql
The Second Trial of Aql is located in the Eastern Vermillius Gap, in a cave called the Deep Struggle. From the Wreck of Alcyon, head north across the open desert to Scav’s Hope, then continue northeast around the mountain. Or, if it’s easier, head a bit north from the southeast Ironworks.
If you’re struggling to find it, climb to a high point and launch a Survey Probe to reveal a vast section of the region. Dune is vast after all.
