World of Warcraft's Dragonflight expansion is in full swing and the newly uncovered Dragon Isles are bound to become even more interesting throughout 2023. Patch 10.1's release date marks the next major update on the game's roadmap, promising some chunky additions.
WoW: Dragonflight's patch 10.1 release date is currently expected to occur at some point between spring and summer 2023. It will be preceded by two smaller patches, so there will hopefully be plenty to do in the lead-up to its launch.
World of Warcraft Patch 10.1 Release Date
Although Blizzard hasn't committed to an exact WoW patch 10.1 release date just yet, we do know what it plans to introduce when it does eventually hit live servers.

The Dragon Isles are getting a new zone and raid, giving players new ground to explore, treasures to uncover, and bosses to fight against.
It's also when Season 2 kicks off with new rewards for players who engage in PvP and mythic+, the latter of which will also get a refreshed dungeon pool.
World of Warcraft's patch 10.1 also brings updates to the reworked professions system and improvements to the user interface, both of which received a sweeping set of changes with the launch of Dragonflight.
We may also see balance changes for classes who might perform too well or not well enough. The exact content of a patch can change as development progresses, but new raids and seasons have been staples of major updates over the past couple of years.
More details will likely be shared as we get closer to launch. That is what we know so far about World of Warcraft's patch 10.1 release date. For more on the MMORPG, check out its server status.
