Publisher Focus Home Interactive has announced that World War Z’s Patch 1.06 is now live on PC. The patch is mostly focused on fixing a handful of issues related to the friends list and party invites not working, all fairly important given the game’s leaning towards co-op.
Although the number of fixes it adds is rather small, both in terms of fixes and size, the download will reportedly repack about half of World War Z. The publisher has confirmed that this is happening due to the shader cache requiring to be updated for Vulcan.
