We're streaming an hour of Stellaris' robot-centered expansion, Synthetic Dawn, at 21:00 UK time/13:00 PT/16:00 ET today on our Twitch channel! Stellaris: Synthetic Dawn is slated for release on September 21, 2017 on , but you can get a peek just ahead of the release as GameWatcher attempts to raise a galactic empire of cybernetic AI and maybe even teach space robots to love!
In Stellaris: Synthetic Dawn, Paradox Interactive takes players to a gleaned, but as of yet untouched section of the galactic 4X strategy experience. We have seen rogue robots come into our universe to cause trouble in the past, but without mods, there was really no way to play as them. Synthetic Dawn corrects and expands this situation. Not only will players be able to play as a robotic civilization as they carve out their place in the galactic stage, but various points of the game are expanded to feature situations that affect and engage the robotic factions.
Synthetic Dawn features new robot portraits for race, workers, leaders, and more, as well as new event chains and story features to challenge and expand your robotic race as they pursue life in the wide cosmos. Overcome or ally with other galactic civilizations with new interactions and be mindful of rebelling rogue AI and robots among your own kind. Will you be a peaceful expanding AI capable of interaction with the organics or a virulent plague upon the galaxy that seeks the eradication of unacceptable life forms?
You can watch the stream below or go to our Twitch channel for the full experience. If you miss it you can check out our recent broadcasts or our YouTube channel for all our previous streams, Let's Plays, and all other videos. Stellaris: Synthetic Dawn will be launching soon, but why not join GameWatcher in exploring the possibilities of synthetic civilization ahead of launch?
