Improved Deal Screen

Your deals with other nations are about to get a lot easier to navigate. This mod offers a completely revamped and expanded deal screen, featuring new, large trade icons for your resources, as well as civilization specific coloring and icons to lend some flavor to your trades. Deals will be easier to read and manage and the overall layout and design is far more appealing than the comparatively drab vanilla offering.

Improved Fog of War

This one is simple, but certainly a great quality of life mod for your Civ VI experience. This mod adjusts the color contrast on the edge of the fog of war in the game to better distinguish where you are from what you shouldn't be able to see. That means it will be harder to mistake parts of your map for uncovered land and provide a better, more understandable snapshot of what you need to keep eyes on.

Sweden (Karl XII)

Karl XII was a young king. Crowned at the age of 15, he was untested and inexperienced. It was this that caused his constituents to look down upon him and it was this that would push him to fiercely prove himself. Now Sweden and Karl XII come to your world stage. Karl's Sweden is one of advancement and just war. He hates those who would lower themselves to surprise attacks, but when engaged, Karl will use his Carolean musketmen and combat tactics (adjacency bonuses during siege) to put an end to his enemies on their own soil. Will you take this young king and make him timeless?

Real Tech Tree

Is there anything more weird in Civ VI than a Civ getting two eras ahead without crucial tech in any given area? We don't think so, and while this is addressed lightly in other mods, this particular one deeply tackles the issue. Civic and Tech Trees have been reworked to ensure some level of logic. You can't burn iron without a furnace and you can't build machinery without calculations. The idea is that not only will Civs not jump ahead in eras, but you won't have dead end technology that ends up serving little purpose past its original moment.

Starting Builder

It takes you so many precious turns and certainly some priority control before you can start improving tiles on your own starting land. Well no more, this mod adds a builder to your starting units alongside the warrior and settler. Now you can jump right into improvements of your land all while getting that granary or monument ready in a jiffy.

Better Coastal Cities and Water Tiles

Coastal cities have been known to have a hard time in Civ VI due to the underwhelming values of production and food that make it difficult for them to expand. We've seen some solutions, but this mod takes aim at the overall function of coastal cities with water tiles and outputs. Nearly every aspect of coastal building has been reworked to boost food and production, in some cases where there was no bonus. With this, coastal cities won't be so hobbled in comparison to their landlocked neighbors.

Hitler of Germany

To be honest, Firaxis and 2K will probably never add this into the game on their own, and so comes Hitler as an alternate leader for Germany. The innovator of the Lightning War strategy, Hitler's leader trait is Blitzkrieg, which boosts military production and movement of combat units during wartime with major civilizations. Hitler will try to spread Germany's influence with voracious tenacity and has no respect for any nation with a small army.

Unique District Icons

The District Icons of Civilization VI do their jobs for the most part, but they're more than a little bland. This mod adds new icons with a touch of extra personality to them to make them stand out and look good in your games. Each type of district is represented by a better icon while not keeping the base colors for easy identification.

Firebug's Ashoka (India)

Tired of seeing Ghandi's face in every Civ game you want to play? You'd think he was the only great leader to come out of India. Time to give someone else the reins for a bit. This one gives Ashoka the spotlight. A great emperor, Ashoka was at one time a cunning war general and later on a stalwart reformist to the ways of Buddhism to save and help his people lead better lives. The scribes will tell of his violent campaigns with a bonus to Great Writer points for melee and cavalry kills and faith bonuses for every great work of writing in the civ, but Ashoka will also strive to make amenities for his faithful citizens and will hate other civs that don't relish happiness and faith in the same way.

Let's Ignore Warmongering!

Darn if it isn't hard to be a genocidal maniac in a big world full of AI civs. Denouncement here, denouncement there, and the whole world's suddenly on your back. If only there was a way to get them to look the other way. Well, with this mod there is. It will make other nations ignoring your warmongering ways. Nations will still be mad when you occupy their cities or those of their allies, but now civs won't hate you simply for being a little extra murderous in world affairs.
