Dungeon of the Endless Summary
Amplitude Studios will release the latest entry in its Endless universe this month, with rogue-like dungeon defense game Dungeon of the Endless coming to Steam on October 27.
The game's been on Early Access since December 2013, but the complete version adds several new features including more difficulty levels, score tracking and co-op multiplayer.
Rogue-like tower defence game Dungeon of the Endless will eventually receive four-player co-op, according to developers Amplitude Studios.
In an interviewthe team confirmed their multiplayer plans, originally revealed in a developer blog post.
Amplitude Studios, creator of Endless Space, is bringing their new 4X strategy to the Early Access program through Steam in Q2 2014. It's a fantasy-based 4X set on a single world recovering from a cataclysm.
It features the The Vaulters, the "most sci-fi like faction" of Legend, and also part of the wider Endless universe. Amplitude will be introducing factions in a series of reveals.
Amplitude Studios's rogue-like Dungeon of the Endless is now available on Steam Early Access. Gamers will get a chance to play the alpha build, which will allow them to "build and equip a team, gather resources and construct defenses, and explore an infinite number of dungeons in an effort to reach the planet’s surface."
Amplitude Games, known for their 4X title Endless Space, has posted a teaser video for their upcoming GamesCom debut of Dungeon of the Endless, which seems to be a sci-fi action-RPG - basically a 16-bit "Diablo in space" sort of game.
