Update 5 drops for The Elder Scrolls Online, loyal players get Dwemer Sphere pet‏

My experience of Dwemer Spheres in Elder Scrolls games has not been entirely positive, the nasty little mechanical sods. Hopefully fans who've spent a lot of time playing The Elder Scrolls Online feel differently.

Developer Zenimax Online has announced that anyone who's played the fantasy MMO for six months or longer will unlock their very own Sphere as a vanity pet.

Fourth Elder Scrolls Online content patch goes live, adds new Trial and an Arena challenge

The fourth Elder Scrolls Online content patch has gone live, opening up the highest reaches of Upper Craglorn for you to go adventuring about in.

There you'll find a new Trial, the Sanctum Ophidia, which has you face off against the "trolls and other nightmares" of the Scaled Court. I don't know what any of that means, but it all sounds lovely. You'll also be able to visit the fighting pits of the Dragonstar Arena.

During the process European players will be unable to log in to the server. The North American server will obviously not be affected.
